Current Gallery: fridakahlo ( piece)
The summer of 2013, I drew one drawing of Frida Kahlo in pencil as a tribute to Frida Kahlo, Mexican artist. Because of the amazing response that I received by the public, I continued to draw her image until I had a total of twenty drawings. In January of 2014, the “Many Faces of Frida Kahlo; An Artist’s Interpretation was showed at Arizona Western College and later was shown at the Yuma Art Center on July 11, 2015. Each drawing took three to four evenings to draw, and each I hold dear to my heart. Each work of art represents a time in Frida’s life, and now I share those images that I drew with you, which are my interpretation as an artist.
