Femi sometimes employs a use of stylised form, lines, patterns and motifs to express his concepts. He also enjoys doing sceneries in pastel and acrylic wash on location or with the subject before him. Inspiration comes from moods, emotions, dreams and aspirations of his and those of other people.
There is always someone who can relate to you in another corner of the world no matter how obscure. As a Visual communicator, he understands "there are a thousand words in every little picture".
The artist studied at Yaba College of Technology, Lagos, Nigeria. He has also exhibited with SNA (Society of Nigerian Artists). On returning to the UK, he has showed his work with the then Greenwich Arts Collective, London.
