Chicago has served as a crossroads for this traveler from New Jersey, either as the starting point of old Route 66, or as an overnight stop on road trips to other points in the West and Northwest. A wonderful destination in itself, I often linger a day or two in town to wander among the skyscrapers and attractions, or to catch a Cubs game at Wrigley Field. Bright and shiny color prints are displayed at the beginning of the gallery, classic black and white in the middle, and finally retro sepia photographs at the back end of the gallery.
