Catalog Collages are collages that I create that come from the steady stream of catalogs the arrive at my house in the mail everyday. I like to create a collage from every magazine that comes through my mailbox. I work as a designer, so I really appreciate the effort that goes into mail order catalogs. My favorites are Anthropologie, Pottery Barn, Arhaus, JCrew, West Elm and Viva Terra to name a few. These companies spend thousands of dollars on photography, concept creation, design and layout that it seems a shame that they just get tossed So, in honor of trees, designers, photographers and let’s not forget the models, I pay tribute to their efforts everyday (or a least once a week) by creating a collage that encompasses the essence of each catalog.
