Current Gallery: cambodia ( piece)
This gallery comprises several of my favorite images taken in Seam Reap, Cambodia. Most were shot at Angkor Wat and on Tonle Sap Lake. What I saw left me with conflicted feelings; impoverished town centers and thin children, juxtaposed with gorgeous landscape and the treasures of Angkor Wat. Still, Cambodia conjured an unexplainable resilience in spite of its sorrowful history. My aim was to capture some of Cambodia's magic in life and in stone. I shot many of these photos with a medium format, using infra-red film and regular black and white, then scanned the negatives into Photoshop.
