A collection of panoramic photographs of locations in Ireland. Some of them are available as immersive virtual reality panoramas on the VeryDerry website.
They include images from County Donegal, County Sligo and Inisheer in the Arran Islands
Some of them also appear in a calendar available from CafePress, any one of them makes a welcome Irish themed gift.
The panoramas are presented here using a stereographic projection. It has the effect of turning an equi-rectangular panorama into a tiny planet. The horizon in the rectangular projection becomes the edge of a globe floating in a blue sky.
