My project ALEPH AD TAV was to Paint a modern version of the Hebrew letters of the Alephbet, using the symbols of letters and their numerical value of gematria. The project took several years to be realized, and each letter has been the subject of careful study and reflection. The particularity of the Hebrew alphabet compared to other alphabets such as Latin alphabet, hebrew letters have a meaning and can they referred as characters or things. They have a life. I tried to recreate my vision of each letter in a joyful and playful universe where characters interact with the letters around them.
