This is the artwork that started the whole concept of "Art by Design". The original artwork was created for my youngest sister as a gift. I love combining the clean crisp lines of graphic art with natural organic stokes of traditional looking art mediums. With any artwork I create there's research in the drafts. I must of looked at dozens of tiger images to get the look and expression I wanted. The gaze had to be intense but not threatening. This is a composite of 4 tigers, the head position, the eyes, the stripes on the brow and the forehead pattern. Look long and deep enough and you can see the soul of the tiger.
