I am working on this gallery- please excuse my newness. I will get the kinks worked out in time, I am primarily an abstract painter , professionally for over thirty years(but technology in computers just eludes me! ). I began painting as a kid(before I could walk or talk).I have created somewhere in the vicinity of 2000 artworks(maybe more) in my life so far. I am in many major museums,galleries, and private collections around the world. I am the real deal !!! Despite all the artworld pluralism, I am true to my art. (Although sometimes ,I think about making art for the greater market, I always think , nah ,that's selling out. So for now I remain true,unless of course that is, I change my mind!). I could make up a lot of phoney stories, to make my art more interesting, like many artists do, but like Shakespeare wrote his plays, I paint eloquently, for the common people. Anyone can understand my art, though often there are deeper meanings , sometimes my subconcious mind hides them , even from me until such time as I am ready to see and experience them myself. And you will find the same , what at first may appear as awkward,untrained, in my work you will find in time, is not at all.In fact my work is complex and deep and in time groes on you.In only a very few rare cases where someone needed money has my work ever resold, And they don't stay unsold for long ,that is why unlike the trendy artists you'll see at auction, you won't find mine. My collectors keep my paintings because they love them, the hold up over time, and they just won't let go of them! I've had many people say they dreamt about my paintings! Always good dreams! I have too, many of these paintings came to me first in a dream, then a drawing(in the middle of the night) then I paint them. Many just happen spontaneously, as I am working. I never suffered from artist's block, my mind is so busy all of the time, that if I lived another ten lifetimes I still wouldn't run out of ideas...I hope you enjoy what you see, and want to hang my works on your walls, that to me is the greatest compliment of all.In my work ,you will find I run the gamut of styles and emotions.There is something in my work that almost everyone can find something they will relate to.A color, a feeling, a mood, or an image. I am primarily an abstract painter, direct descendant of Jackson Pollock automatic painting, but I am well versed in nearly every art form known to man.(my first realistic images were copies of Rembrandt, and Hals in 6th grade! I was painting out of Dali' and Miro by age 11 or 12). I love all kinds of art and through my work you will see bits of things I've picked up along the way, from every facet of art.
