This is a collection of very whimsically abstract paintings. They are graphic and bold shapes with striking colors. Each painting has a lot going on within it. There are many shapes to grab a hold on and every time you look at one of them, especially Hokusai's Wave, Retold, you're sure to see something that you didn't see before. There are a lot of negative spaces to be focused on. My work is intended to inspire the viewer to believe that life is meant to be playful and full of wonderment and joy. They are set to remind us that there are twists and turns at every corner but that is all part of the big and colorful picture. The shapes are symbolic and full of free-flowing designs and colors.
