Digitally designed stylized mandalas. Mandala is the Sanskrit word for circle. Mandalas, as an ancient art form, have commonly been used as a tool in meditation - a way to plumb the depths of the psyche (soul) and achieve enlightenment. These are interpretations of the traditional mandala form, which I call stylized because they do not comply with classical mandala art (mandala is Sanskrit for circle). However, they are in keeping with the basic structure - a circular composition representing wholeness, with a circular center representing the soul, the heart, or the center of the universe. Being a Reiki Master, I have also infused the designs with Reiki healing energy, which viewers can drawn on if the intention is set to do so.
