I moved to New Jersey in the summer of 2000 and was completely unfamiliar with it except for the stereotypes that I had heard -- that NJ was a toxic wasteland and an urban desert. Well, they don't call NJ the Garden State for nothing! I was fortunate that my first job after moving here required me to travel all around the state so I saw first-hand just how beautiful NJ can be in every season.
