My rural work celebrates the joy of traveling the back roads of East Tennessee and Western North Carolina. I've met some skilled workers and friendly farmers who have lived in these areas their whole life. Several of the barns and farms I've photographed are now gone. So through my photography I try to preserve our American Heritage and a unique, rustic lifestyle that is slowly fading away.
